Undeserved Misfortune
In the movie, The Notebook, the undeserved misfortune would be the heart break of actor, Ryan Gosling, when he finds out that the love of his life, Rachael McAdams, is married to another man.He audience knows whats set up for him but he does not. In life I have had many instances in which something happens to me that I do not deserve, undeserved misfortune. My life is miserable sometimes because of my younger sister. She always does things that she is not supposed to and even though I know it was her my mom blames me because I am the first she sees after my sister has done something. An idea for film would be a "nerd" who gets in trouble almost every single day because of the bullies at school. The audience know that the bullies are the ones that cause all the disasters at school, but the "nerd" does not stand up for himself resulting in his undeserved misfortune.

Conflict
There are different forms of conflict that can be involved in movies, or in real life. In the movie, 50 First Dates, the conflict is a person against reality. After having her accident, she only replays her life in one day. Her family and her boyfriend, whom she does not remember, have to make her believe that she lives that day over and over. The day she finds out that she had an accident the whole day is a disaster, but what she didn't know is that she would go back to living the same day as soon as she woke up the next morning. An idea for film with conflict would be the story of a teenage baseball player who uses steroids all season long and at the end of season he gets recruited. The problem is that the recruiters don't know he used steroids , so he would have to decide whether to do what's right or cheat his way to success.

My Film Job
There are many different roles when it comes to movie production, but I in particular would like to try being the casting director. I would like to work with actors and help them bring their characters to life. It would help to increase my knowledge on how to work with people and help them improve their character depending on how they have to act. I am very observative, so I think that would be to my advantage on seeing the details that are wrong with the actors.
